If you have questions about Hydroxylapatit, fluoride, children's tooth care, or our products in general, you're in exactly the right place.
INGREDIENTS & HOW IT WORKS
Toothpaste is a cream, whilst tooth powder is the dry variant – without water and without foaming surfactants. You apply a small amount of powder to your toothbrush and brush as usual. Many people appreciate the powder's purist formula and its refillable, plastic-reduced packaging. What works better for you is ultimately a matter of your personal preferences.
We're committed to full transparency. On our ingredients page we explain every single ingredient: where it comes from and what role it plays in your care.
Hydroxylapatit is a
natural component of tooth enamel – in fact, your tooth surface is made up of around 97 % of this mineral. In our tooth powder, Hydroxylapatit can support the natural remineralisation of tooth enamel and contributes to a smoother tooth surface as well as a naturally brighter appearance.
What research says about Hydroxylapatit as an ingredient in oral care:
- Hydroxylapatit can contribute to the remineralisation of
tooth enamel by incorporating minerals such as calcium and phosphate (1). - Studies suggest that Hydroxylapatit
can help reduce tooth sensitivity (2). - Hydroxylapatit can influence the adhesion of bacteria to the tooth surface and thus contribute to biofilm management – without disrupting the
natural balance in your mouth (3).

Our Sensitive tooth powder contains Lactobacillus plantarum HEAL19, one of the first probiotics specially optimised for oral care. It supports the natural balance of your mouth flora and contributes to a pleasant feeling in your mouth.
Natural tooth care can be a gentle alternative to conventional products. Many classic dental care products contain ingredients like sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), which can irritate the oral mucosa. We deliberately avoid such additives and rely on mild, natural care with carefully selected ingredients.
SAFETY & SCIENCE
Yes. All ingredients are
carefully selected and tested. Our products are developed and manufactured in accordance with applicable cosmetic regulations.
There are scientific studies on hydroxylapatite in oral care, and fluoride has also been well researched for decades. We don't make a judgment about which substance is superior to the other – we leave that assessment to you. You'll find a selection of published studies in our hydroxylapatite guide so you can form your own opinion. If in doubt, your dentist is the best point of contact.
Fluoride is a well-researched ingredient in dental care that has been studied for decades. Some people deliberately choose to use it, whilst others prefer or need to avoid it – both are legitimate, personal decisions. Our tooth powders are fluoride-free and rely on Hydroxylapatit, a mineral that occurs naturally in tooth enamel.
This is a personal decision – and one we don't want to make for you. Fluoride has been well researched for a long time. Hydroxylapatit is a mineral that occurs naturally in tooth enamel; our tooth powders rely on it and are fluoride-free. It's best to discuss which approach is right for you with your dentist.
PRODUCT & SUITABILITY
No. Our tooth powders are fluoride-free – including the children's tooth powder. If you have any questions about fluoride, it's best to speak with your dentist.
Our tooth powder is perfect for anyone who values gentle, natural dental care – for the whole family.
